We are an international video production and animation company looking for a sure-footed business development manager (hunter) to join our team, helping us win new video projects across the globe.
This is an office-based role, working from our headquarters in central London.
As Business Development Manager (BDM) you will work directly with our CEO:
Generating new business opportunities by sourcing your own leads and planning and delivering on strategies for reaching them. We tend to sell to senior marketing professionals so you would need to be confident approaching, pitching and closing people working at this level.
Approaching, learning about and nurturing your leads right through our sales funnel, including calling prospects, setting up meetings for our head of production and helping him close those deals.
Recording everything meticulously in our CRM.
Reporting back to the management team on KPIs in the weekly sales meeting.
The ideal candidate will:
Be passionate about sales, with a proven ability to hunt for and bring in big deals.
Have excellent written and oral communication skills – including an willingness uncontainable desire to pick up the phone and sell. You will be articulate and persuasive
Be highly ambitious and determined to succeed.
Excel at objection handling.
Be technically proficient in using tools like LinkedIn and Google for prospecting and our CRM for recording all information on your sales progress.
Be thoughtful and considerate of colleagues – we want your team to love working with you.
There is real potential for the right candidate to realistically earn a six figure salary and progress within the business to a senior position.
