B2B Guide publishes 1300th social media statistic

The B2B Guide to Social Media, a blog providing practical advice to B2B organisations, today publishes its 1,300th statistic.  The blog started publishing statistics on social media usage, social gaming, Twitter, LinkedIn, apps and others in March in an effort to provide a single hub of reliable information on the subject.

The B2B Guide’s editor, Heather Baker, comments: “The blog is a one-stop-shop for marketers and business owners in B2B industries, who are looking for ways to get the most out of social media. It offers practical guidelines on how to generate leads, drive traffic to your website or build thought leadership using social media.”

And the prize (a hug delivered in London) for the 1,300th statistic goes to Mashable, who this week unveiled that 47% of Facebook users have swear words on their profile.

Heather continues: “We’re proud of every one of our 1300 social media statistics, which cover everything from Facebook statistics to social gaming and video statistics.”

The B2B Guide to Social Media has been nominated for two awards in the last month: Best Blog 2011 at the International Stevie Awards, and Business Blog of the Year 2011 at the SomeComms awards.
