TopLine nominated for B2B Campaign of the Year Award

TopLine ‘s work promoting recruiter Spencer Ogden as a thought leader has been recognised in a nomination for B2B Campaign of the Year at the Golden Hedgehog PR Awards 2012.

Celebrating the very best in PR across the UK, the awards are sponsored by the PRCA and Precise to recognise exceptional campaigns and talented communicators.

It was Spencer Ogden’s Renewable Energy Round Table that caught the attention of the Golden Hedgehogs’ judges. Hosted by Spencer Ogden and chaired by journalist Sarah Lockett, the round table involved a panel of seven experts, including the Shadow Energy Minister Huw Irranca-Davies and Lord Smith, Chairman of the Environment Agency, who engaged in discussion about the future of renewable energy in the UK and whether the country is progressing towards the 2020 goal of 30% renewable energy.

The discussion was streamed live online with a Twitter stream fuelling the debate. The event reached over 155,000 people and was subsequently broadcast at the All Energy conference in Aberdeen. A video case study showing the campaign in more detail is available on TopLine’s home page.
