Our clients in the news: January 2017

January. The time of year we commit to getting our lives sorted and setting unrealistic resolutions for the year ahead.

But while most of us were busy joining the gym, stocking up our cupboards with healthy foods and downloading budgeting and productivity apps, our clients were already hard at work.

Here’s what they have been up to:

Bullhorn
Bullhorn International MD Peter Linas knows that the best business owners are restless and always looking for the next opportunity. That’s why he wrote this piece for Minutehack giving advice to business owners on how they can make sure their business never stagnates.

He also wrote a piece for The Global Recruiter on the changing face of the human workforce as technology becomes more advanced.

But that’s not all Peter was up to last month, he also wrote for Enterprise Apps Tech on how ‘open email’ benefits businesses and gave tips to Growth Business readers on creating a healthy, intergenerational workplace.

sales-i
Some businesses might shy away from big data as they don’t want to be seen spying on their customers, but there is no need. In this My Customer article, sales-i CEO Paul Black explains how companies can use big data without becoming Big Brother.

Meanwhile, sales-i President Kevin McGirl was speaking to Cleaning Business Today on the vital features of a successful sales culture and sales-i also had its research on the future of the food and drinks industry covered in Food & Drink International.

Study Group
Fighting for international students in the UK, Study Group MD James Pitman had a letter published in the Financial Times last month. In the letter, he notes that Parthenon-EY research suggests for every 1,000 foreign students, 600 jobs are supported — of which half are estimated to be in the local economy.

Furthermore, Study Group’s new partnership with Durham University was covered in the trade press with articles published in The Pie News and ST Magazine.

PaySpace
New TopLine client PaySpace is an expert on all things relating to HR and payroll in Africa. In this article published in HR Tech Outlook, PaySpace director Bruce van Wyk shares his expertise on overcoming expat employee challenges in Africa.

But he didn’t stop there, also an expert on cloud software, Bruce wrote an article for EngineerIT last month on why businesses should move their payroll to the cloud.

Sable Group
Controlling your digital legacy is something we all need to think about it. In this article in Information Age, Sherron Alexander-Bedingfield, will writer at Sable International, explains why getting a will shortly after your 18th birthday is so important in today’s online world.

Meanwhile, Saskia Johnston, Foreign Exchange Expert at Sable International wrote an exclusive article for Finance Monthly on how SMEs can protect themselves against pound fluctuations in the coming years.
