In 2010, Spencer Ogden was a newly established energy recruitment consultancy that wanted to become the global market leader in recruitment for the energy sector. It was important for Spencer Ogden to position itself as the only recruiter able to cover the entirety of the energy industry and to showcase its in-depth understanding of key industry issues. 

What We Did

TopLine created a strategic integrated communications campaign to promote Spencer Ogden to decision makers in the energy industry through a series of round tables, videos, social campaigns, award entries, thought leadership and news-led media pieces. The strategy was designed specifically to support Spencer Ogden’s growth ambitions by ensuring that Spencer Ogden was represented in the media as a market leader. 

Results

Our strategy made Spencer Ogden the most talked about brand in its space, delivering over 300 pieces of coverage, 5 award wins including the National Business Awards and Queens Award, and events that reached over 155,000 people and generated tens of thousands of YouTube views. Over a four year period, Spencer Ogden grew from a start-up to a sensational success story with a turnover of over £100m.
