Highlighting the cost of IT failures

Highlighting the cost of IT failures
Client: Adam Continuity

Their Brief

Adam Continuity is a leading provider of business and data continuity solutions to organisations in the UK and Europe. In a market dominated by a few companies, Adam Continuity wanted to highlight the importance of data backup and retrieval to small and medium-sized companies, and to establish its position as the leading authority on the issue. It also wanted to raise the company's profile and demonstrate its expertise to managers, CIOs, CEOs and financial directors in UK businesses.

What We Did

TopLine worked closely with Adam Continuity to develop a PR campaign, the cornerstone of this was a piece of strategic research which revealed that more than half of companies have lost valuable business hours due to IT failures.

TopLine also produced a case study to show how Adam Continuity ensures its customers are protected against data loss and compliant with financial legislation. We then took the case study and research data to the press, presenting Adam Continuity as a source of market news, insight and expertise.

Results

TopLine secured targeted coverage for Adam Continuity designed to raise awareness in its target market and supported its growing sales.

What They Said

I was delighted and reassured to learn that the first step in our contract with TopLine was for them to come to our offices and learn about Adam Continuity. The editorial brainstorming was informative and by the time they had left I felt confident that they knew what we were about. From that point, it was easy – the PR strategy was in line with our business objectives and the account manager kept me informed and involved at every stage in the process. I was well prepared ahead of interviews with the media and when TopLine dealt with our clients to develop the case study, they were professional and efficient – like an extension of our own brand.
