TopLine Comms came up with the idea of promoting Spencer Ogden to the energy industry through a series of round tables on topical issues. The first of these focused on the future of renewables and the second looked at the future of shale gas in the UK.
The round table events helped catapult Spencer Ogden into the spotlight, cementing its position as an energy sector recruitment specialist with a solid grounding in industry issues. Both events were hugely popular, with the first debate being broadcast live to 155,000 people. The second event was attended by 14 journalists, with 6 from national newspapers, and generated 20 pieces of coverage, 9 in national press, including the front page of the Telegraph business section. It also racked up over 10,000 YouTube views - proof of the wide appeal and topicality of the subject matter. Spencer Ogden is now considered a leader in its industry with its finger on the pulse of global energy issues.
